Equality Reloaded is not just a youth exchange, it is not just a place to meet and talk. Equality Reloaded is a place in which to self-training, from empathy, sorority and real equity. Where a group horizontality is sought in which to support each other, learn from everyone and reformulate the work by breaking with what is established in a patriarchal and a bit inclusive society.
Participants from Egypt, Spain, Palestine, Romania and Tunisia, united in Spain, in an ecovillage located in the mountain ranges of Ronda, in the province of Malaga, Andalusia. A place to reconnect with our most natural essence, a little further from the society of consumption and needs imposed on us, thus being able to create a care space, and confidence to face the aspects that we will work cooperatively.
The vision of gender equality in the different participating countries. A global vision of how society, family, education, film and television integrate gender socialization to people. A new gender perspective with which to learn and deconstruct ourselves thanks to personal experiences and shared experiences at all times. Activities with which to face the real inequalities that we all live and expose them, break with them and focus new projects for all. And of course moments to relax and unite a little more. Yoga, watching movies, creative activities with which to create dissemination campaigns, creating short films as a means of activism. A thousand moments to remember, in which to laugh, get excited, love and feel is all that we take away from the people who have participated in this project.
